The Hopeful Beginnings
A couple of problems occured to us a few years ago. Firstly, the internet industry consisted of two types of people the designers and the coders. Secondly, the web design process went to the coders first? Surely not, we said. But wait, then we found out that the designers were left to try and make the random characters work, with little inspiration or creative freedom.
We realised, it can be done better!
It dawned us, that actually in the real world this process did not make much sense and could be done in a much more efficient and highly creative way.
At Apergy, we make sure that every project that enters our doors, or creative walls as we call them, looks the best it possibly can. We have an advantage over most other web design companies in that each member of our team is able to both design and code. This means if we invision it graphically, we are already thinking how it can work behind the scenes.
Our Small is Big Philosophy
Have you ever been told when you were young to never keep all your eggs in one basket? Or have you ever heard the saying it's the small things in life that count? Perhaps even the phrase good things come in small packages?
For us to be different, we needed to find something that sets us apart. We believe that how your reward your customers sets you apart, and we rewards our customers well. An example could be that if you were to buy a years worth of hosting we would give your 2 months off the price for free! Another would be a customer spending a substancial amount on a website, logo design worth £110 was bundled in for free also.
If thats not rewarding enough, we also offer a 3 month free support service for our new customers who will need time to change over from either a legacy system or only just getting to grips with how the internet works. This service covers things like "I am lost, what do I do?", or "It is slightly over to the right in Safari." We will aim to have these things fixed within 48-72 hours.
What do we plan for the future?
When it boils down to asking what is our 5 year plan, or even 10 year plan. We believe that we can pave the way with a few simple and very important goals.

- Produce amazing and unique products, that are both customer and user friendly.
- Ensure Apergy rewards our new and current customers, for both loyalty and trust.
On the side line, when we do not have our heads in current projects we like to come up with ideas that will help people with their day to day lives, whether this be in a commercial or personnal way. An example would be our ongoing project called "Keeptabs" which strives to help students in the UK arrange themselves to ensure both their personal and educational diaries are in synch, and that their finances can support their spending.
